How the ranking works
Public companies file a proxy statement with the SEC before each annual meeting, and many picture their board nominees and top executives. We took the most recent proxy (2025 or later) of every US-listed company that has one, kept the face photos, and scored each from 1 to 10 with a face model trained on thousands of hand-rated faces. Ads and stock photos are filtered out, and a director who sits on several boards with the same photo is listed once, with every company. Pay and market cap are the company's figures, not his.
Most proxy photos are of directors; some are of executives, and the filing doesn't always say which. Big companies picture their boards far more often than small ones, so the list leans large-cap.
Scores are a face model's prediction from one photo, not a fact about anyone. Photos belong to the companies that published them. Pictured and want it removed? Email UncleSam@phorager.com and it'll come down.
